William Smith, Jr.

William (Bill) Smith born on July 8th, 1941 in Ranger, WV passed away on October 20th, 2015 at the age of 74 in St. Petersburg, FL Mr. Smith is survived by his wife Patricia (Patti), son Greg (Leslie) of Florida, and daughter Andrea of Florida. Preceded in death were his mother and father Edith Webb and William Roosevelt Sr. Also preceding Bill in death were brothers Donald, Corbin, Stanley and sister Lois. Surviving siblings include Wendell (Frieda) Smith of Michigan, Connie (Bob) Witherington of Florida, Ivan (Jerry) of Ohio, Patty (Pat) Macri of Florida, and Clifford of Michigan and sister-in-law Jane Smith. Bill was an avid golfer; enjoyed time spent with friends and family and was one of the original Orlando Magic fans when the franchise first came to town. Mr. Smith retired as a District Chief with the Orlando Fire Dept. after 25 years of service where his last assignment was overseeing the Supply Bureau. Bill is also survived by two stepsons Jerry (Karen) Keith, Shawn (Michelle) Keith. Surviving step-grandchildren include Christopher, Michael, Ryan, Parker and Logan Keith. Surviving stepsisters include Debbie (Larry) Heckert, and Deanna (Arthur) Pitts.
