Walter Alexander McFall, 78, passed away April 21, 2021 in Orlando. Walter was born in Jacksonville, Florida and lived in Neptune Beach, Florida until graduation from Duncan U Fletcher High School in 1961. He served in the United States Air Force based in Tampa, Florida. Walter retired in 1998 after thirty-one years with Florida Rock Industries. He was a Mason and member of the Ribault Lodge 272, in Jacksonville Beach Florida, The Scottish Rite, Orlando and a Shriner in the Bahia Temple, Orlando.
Walter was predeceased by his parents, Alexander George McFall and Evelyn White McFall, son Brian Alexander McFall, brother William George McFall.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; sister Kay M. McFall, Cherokee, Texas; nephew Christopher McFall, Jacksonville, Fl.; children David (Cindy) McFall, Jennifer (C.J.) Maier and grandchildren Taylor and Mason McFall, Landon and Palmer Maier all of Orlando.
Walter was happiest in the forest. There are many memories of camping vacations at the Springs or in the mountains. Boating on the St. Johns River. Many seasons of hunting and family gatherings at Thanksgiving. As of late he just enjoyed going to the Ocala National Forest.
A private family graveside service is being planned.
