Virginia Klaasen

Virginia Klaasen passed away at home on December 28, 2017. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, B. James, and leaves son Donald (Barbara), son James (Susan) and grandchildren Carolyn and Robert, and daughter Sondra (Timothy) Bales. Virginia moved to Orlando in 1958. She was a member of the Bach Festival Choir for 43 years (retiring in 2002), the League of Women Voters of Orange County and the Marlando Club. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati Teacher's College, taught kindergarten, and later enjoyed volunteering as a reading tutor with the Orange County Additions Program. A visitation will take place at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park,
