Tona Torrandell

Tona Jennings Torrandell, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 peacefully at home in Orlando, FL.Tona, was born on September 24, 1942, in Winston Salem, North Carolina.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Torrandell of 48 years; her parents, Paul Martin Jennings and Una Rose Schuyler; and two brothers, Daniel Jennings (spouse Janet Jennings) and Larry Jennings. Tona is survived by only Son: Ramon Torrandell III and his fiancée Kimberly Huetzenroeder and granddaughter Maddox Kae Torrandell.  Daughters: Rebecca Heisey and granddaughter Zoey Bauer; Tara Gates and grandsons Addison and Alexander Gates; and Tammy Devlin and husband Allen Devlin, and grandsons Michael Devlin, Matthew Devlin and wife Lea, and Ryan Devlin and wife Jean and great granddaughter Kylie and great grandson Charles. She will be in our hearts forever and greatly missed of a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother who always added color to our lives. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at 11:00am and a graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery for the inurnrment at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be to American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association. Condolences may be left on Tona Jennings Torrandell online guest book at www.careyhand.com
