Theodore Bailey, Sr.

Mr. Theodore H. Bailey Sr., age 86, crossed over into Glory Tuesday morning, July 7th. He left us to join his beloved wife of 66 years, Montrease Russell Bailey. As a native Floridian he grew up in a wonderful home on Esther Street in Orlando, that he later shared with his wife and 6 children; Tedi Jane Almansberger, Scott Bailey (Cheri), Tracey Bailey-residing in Heaven-(Marilyn), Joe Bailey, Ted Bailey Jr. (Donna), and Dan Bailey. He worked hard as a Supervisor for the United States Postal Service while continuing his education.  He earned many Associate  and Bachelors Degrees but most impressive is his Masters Degree in Theology. He had such an unwavering Faith in God that not only inspired others but lead him to study Gods word.

Ted Sr. is predeceased by his Father- Theodore Albert Bailey, his Mother- Ruth Corbett Bailey, his Son- Charles Tracey Bailey, and his wife- Montrease Russell Bailey. He is survived by five of his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and sisters and brothers in law;  Grandchildren:  Alicia, Travis, BJ, Shannon ,Jason, Jennifer, Joe Jr., Alton (BJ), Ashley, Charles, James, Jacob and Emmy.  Great-grandchildren: Dyllan, Dausen, Cheyenne, Mikey, Raymond, Shi, Billy Joe, Leilani, Nathaniel, Nikolai, Layton, Taydem, Quinnlynn, Dean, Steven, Hunter, Ryan,  and Lily.  Sisters and Brothers-in-law: Marie and Bob Fannin, Janet Nixon, Judy Harris, Brent and Theresa Russell, and Buddy and Sue Russell.

Ted Sr., you were loved very much and always will be. We will miss you and will remember you always.  Please give Montrease a hug for us. Be at Peace......…

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020 2PM in the CAREY HAND COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL.
