Teresa Barry

On Friday, December 18th, 2020, Teresa Blondeen (Puckett) Barry, loving mother, sister and friend, passed away at the age of 59. Teresa was born on May 13th, 1961 to her parents Sara (White) Puckett and Douglas Puckett in Oscoda, Michigan. She received her high school diploma from Oak Ridge High School. After working various jobs, she worked as a server at Red Lobster where she met John Tyriver, and in 1990 they had their daughter Sarah Anna Tyriver. A few years later she started her long career at Sea World Orlando, working up to Culinary Supervisor. She loved her job and everyone she met there. When you think of Teresa, you think of Pepsi, a good murder mystery novel, and how much she adored her daughter. Anyone who met her knew her daughter was the light of her life. They enjoyed going out to breakfast and dinner, trips to the beach, and occasional lazy days around the house reading. Teresa was kind, generous, funny, and she will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her daughter, Sarah, and brothers Larry and Kelvin Puckett along with nieces and nephews. A viewing will take place at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home on Monday, December 28 from 2pm until time of service at 4pm.
