Ted R. Parker, 77, died on Sunday, December 29th, 2013, from postsurgery infections. He was born October ninth, 1936, to Grace Tyson and Judson Harris Parker in Franklinton, LA., where he grew up on a dairy farm, and later graduated from Baton Rouge High School. After serving twenty years in the Marines, including a tour in Vietnam, Master Sgt. Parker and his family moved to Orlando from his last duty station in Beaufort, SC in 1973. Ted began a second career as an AC mechanic at Walt Disney World. Many of his coworkers still recall his joketelling abilities and mischievous sense of humor. He fully enjoyed his twenty nine years at WDW. Preceded in death by his brother Charles and sister Pat, Ted is survived by his wife Judy and sons Lance, Robert and Scott Parker, all of Orlando, and his sister, Marie Civil, of Jarreau, LA. Arrangements are being handled by Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home.
