Sharon (Shari) C. Minter
Sharon “Shari” Minter, age 70, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on the morning of November 25, 2025. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Shari will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A proud lifelong resident of Orlando, Shari graduated from Boone High School in 1972. She attended the University of Florida, where she became a cherished member of Alpha Delta Pi, a sorority that continued to hold a special place in her heart throughout her life. Her contributions to Alpha Delta Pi were remarkable, including her pivotal role in designing, building, and opening the sorority house on UCF’s sorority row in the 1980’s. Shari delighted in sharing stories of her ADPi days, a testament to her love for the organization.
After college, Shari briefly worked at SunTrust managing customer data, before she decided to become a stay-at-home mother to her two daughters, Kristin and Lindsay. Her love for her family knew no bounds, and she poured her heart into making every moment special.
Shari was the cherished daughter of Joyce and Allyn Stevens, who lived on Lake Conway and were known for their family business, R.C. Stevens, which built many of the great buildings and landmarks in Orlando.
Travel was one of Shari’s greatest passions, and she explored the world with her husband, Kipp, and her closest girlfriends. Among her favorite destinations was London, England, where her admiration for the Royal Family was born. Her journeys also took her to Scotland, Ireland, and Italy, creating treasured memories she often shared with loved ones.
Above all, Shari adored her grandchildren, whom she showered with boundless love and affection. She was their biggest cheerleader and made it her mission to make each of them feel uniquely special.
Shari will be remembered for her sweet and giving spirit, her warm smile, and her extraordinary ability to make friends with everyone she met.
She is survived by her husband, L. Kipp Minter; daughters, Kristin Heaney and Lindsay Graham; grandchildren, Joey and Jacob Heaney, and Ashley, JD, and Kyle Graham; her sister, Sue Farash and husband Duncan, and nieces, Amanda, Katie, and Emily; and her brother, John Stevens and wife Renee, along with nephew John-John and niece Alex.
A celebration of Shari’s life will be held on Friday, December 13, at 11:00 a.m. in the Reformation Chapel at the First Presbyterian Church of Orlando, located at 106 E. Church St., Orlando, FL 32801.
Shari’s legacy of love, kindness, and joy will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
