Altamonte Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully, January 11, 2016. Salwa was born in Acre,
Palestine on April 25th, 1920. Moved to Lebanon in 1948 with Late Husband Michel Hiresh. She is the daughter of Late Toufic and Khatoun Jammal.
Salwa was a loving Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was the owner of a Woman's clothing store in Lebanon and Professional Seamstress and fashion Designer who loved to sew and teach people how to sew. After her Husband passed away over 50 years ago, she dedicated all her Life to raising her children and giving them all the Care and Love.
Her last wish before going into surgery was asking her daughter Lilian to make sure she and her Siblings, along with all the family, to remain close and to love each other ALWAYS. She also requested that she be dressed in a green dress as green was her husband's favorite color sinceit represents Life and Happiness.
Salwa is survived by her sister Rose Salhany (Elie) in Canada, Children Mitri (Loulou), Sami,(Karen), Lilian Tawill (Farid) in Altamonte Springs, FL and Samia Daccache (Kamal) in Lebanon, Grandmother of Tara (Brian),Jennifer (Bejorn), Amanda, Tanya(Francois), Michael, Nancy (Shawn), Carla (Chris), Michelle, Danny (Loubna), Rania (Ghaby),10 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grand Children and lot of Family members and Friends.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 13 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home located at 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, FL 32806. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 14 at 11:00 A.M. at St. George Antiochian Orthdox Church , 24 N. Rosalind Ave. Orlando FL 32801. A graveside burial service will immediately follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Orlando, followed by a Mercy Meal at SLAC of Orlando Clubhouse,1858 N. Dean Road, Orlando, FL.
