Rocky Darryl King Sr







Rocky was born on January 21, 1953 in Ozark, Al to Alyene Martin and Wayman King. He was one of six children. Living siblings are Michael King and Alyene Burgos.



He grew up in Queens, NY. Rocky graduated from Francis Lewis HS in Queens, NY. On 7/31/71, he enlisted in the U.S Air Force until retirement on 2/29/92 as E7 Master Sgt. and received the Commendation Medal with one Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster. He was also a Master Mason for the Prince Hall Masons.



On 11/30/74 Rocky married Carol Stephanie King in Newbury Berkshire, England. He is survived by his wife, his sons Rocky D King Jr (Sharise), Ricardo J King (Venessa) and 10 grandchildren - Isaiah, Marcus, Jayden, Elijah, Sabrina, Aleeyce, Tatianna, Jerahmeel, Khloe and Xavier King.

A Gathering of Friends for Rocky will be Saturday, November 7th, 2015 from 2 to 3PM at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, Florida, 32806. A Celebration of Life service will be held immediately following the gathering beginning at 3:00 PM
