Robert Carlton "Robby" Williams
In Orlando Florida on April 6th, 1988 a beautiful baby boy was born to Robert and Treacy Williams. On June 16, 1990 his adorable sister Kalyn was born and a very close and permanent sibling bond was formed.
Robby was a happy baby pretty much from day one and by the time he was 1 year old learned how to escape his crib, his climbing skills were amazing but holding on to the rail once he cleared the top needed some work, ouch ! We thought putting pillows around his crib would lessen his fall but decided not to so maybe he would learn from it…Nope, he climbed out every morning. This kind of set the tone for his life of determination.
His first word was "ball" which probably explains why he took to baseball at the age of 4. As he grew his love for sports grew as well.
When he turned 10 the family moved to Chuluota Fl and for the next 12 years he spent lots of his time Bass fishing on lake picket and hanging out with his friends and most of all his precious sister .
Throughout his school years he was an excellent student. He graduated from Oviedo H.S. in 2006 where he lettered in baseball and weightlifting.
After high school he attended Seminole State College where he earned his AA degree followed by his fire fighting certification.
He then became a certified personal trainer. Shortly after, he attended Keiser University and earned his AS degree in Medical assisting and became state certified.
Still his passion kept bringing him back to personal training and helping others reach their goals....And watching Seminoles football on Saturdays!
Robby's view of the world was much different than most and for that he will always be admired. He struggled with accepting how our society told him to live. He was a special soul with a heart of gold and was the happiest when he was helping others. Towards the end of his life he began to draw himself away from society. Beautiful things don't ask for attention. He suffered for years with almost debilitating Obsessive Compulsion Disorder (OCD) and fought it every waking minute. He was determined not to let this much misunderstood disease beat or define him. He was one strong young man and his daily journals that describe his rituals, trials and tribulations bear this out.
He so loved his family, uncles, aunts and his grandmother. He loved and truly cared about anyone in need and wanted to help. We will always remember his infectious smile and unmistakable laugh. Robby you will be in our hearts and our thoughts forever. We will see you again one day!
Love,
Dad, Mom and Kalyn
