Robert "Bob" Mallison, 90, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, December 16, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Earl and Susanah Mallison in Washington D.C. on March 7, 1927.
Bob enlisted in the Navy just before his 18th birthday and served in World War II. After the war, he went to Michigan State University, where he met the love of his life, and wife of 67 years, Esther Ragla Mallison. The couple moved to Orlando in 1960, where they raised their daughter, and Bob worked for Lockheed Martin, in research and development (for 32 years). He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, who loved spending time with his family and playing golf. He enjoyed sharing his faith and served others through a variety of ministries. He is survived by his loving wife, Esther, daughter Holly (Gerald) McElroy, granddaughter Alison (David) Pedersen, grandson Casey McElroy and sister, Sue (George) Pratt, in New York. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Orlando on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 10:00am.
