Ralph Arthur Staschke entered heaven on July 23, 2024. He was born on April 21, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to Arthur and Sophie Staschke. He graduated from Kelly High School, Illinois Institute of Technology and earned a master’s degree from University of Florida. Ralph married Natalie Fern in 1951, they had three children and lived in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1958, they moved to Orlando, Florida with the Martin Marietta Corporation where he worked as an Electrical Engineer until he retired from Lockheed Martin in the 1980’s.
Ralph was a member of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church where he was an Elder and choir member. He also attended Kenilworth Presbyterian Church in Asheville, NC, where he summered for over 25 years. Ralph sang with the Orlando Opera Chorus in many productions and was a member of the REALM group from Lockheed Martin. He and Natalie enjoyed traveling and cruising throughout the world.
Ralph is survived by his children: Kurt Staschke ( Jody), Carol Manno and daughter-in- law Sherry Staschke, Grand children: Elizabeth Lovett ( Jeff), Scott Manno (Kristin), Scott Staschke, Haley Curry ( Alex), Jade Staschke, Great grandchildren: Elliot Staschke, Vivian Staschke, Ralph Curry, Elaine Curry, Sophie Lovett and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Natalie Staschke, son Mark Staschke and granddaughter Jennifer Staschke.
Services will be held at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church 1655 Peel Ave. on Saturday July 27, 2024 at 2PM. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
