Pedro Jimenez

January 10, 1994 — December 22, 2022

Pedro Jimenez was born on January 10th, 1994 in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Bay Ridge Christian Academy up to 6th grade, and then Port Charlotte Middle School when him and his family moved to Florida. He graduated from Port Charlotte High School in 2011, and then went on to complete his Associates of Arts from Edison State College in 2014. When Pedro entered college, he really flourished academically. He excelled in Chemistry and Math, and tutored others with his natural ability to teach and mentor.

After achieving his Associates degree, Pedro moved to New York for a short time pursuing happiness in his youth — he loved the bustling city. He originally worked on a Chemistry degree, but soon realized his passion for helping others. He moved back to Florida to be with his mother and sister, Ingrid and Angela, and continued to create a fulfilling life for himself. He dedicated himself to his beloved church in Downtown Orlando, as well as the homeless community. He committed himself to learning the names of everyone he interacted with, and truly cared for them. Through his church, Pedro volunteered much of his time and even became a certified Steven Minister to help counsel others.

Pedro recently successfully graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Central Florida alongside his dear sister, Angela, on December 16th, 2022. His aspirations were to pursue his Masters to become a Licensed Social Worker and Therapist to continue to serve others. Although he died young before continuing his education, he lived a fulfilled life that helped many people with his time and guiding words. Pedro was wise beyond words and used his talents to help others while he was alive and could, at any chance he had. His awareness of the people around him is what truly made him special. His spirituality and expertise surpassed even our understanding of what could be possible, as Pedro was always learning. He loved God and truly knew God. He showed that love and compassion through his actions for others every day that he lived on this Earth.

Pedro was a beautiful young soul. He lead his life with unconditional love and time for others. His favorite hobbies included learning from others, reading many books, and playing video games with friends. Above all, he always made time for his family who he loved dearly.

For those who knew him, Pedro was wise beyond years and compassionate without limits. For those who knew him briefly, they felt like they knew him for a lifetime. He cared for strangers as if they were his own family. Pedro died due to natural, but unforeseen circumstances on the morning of December 22nd. He shares that date with his sister Angela, as it is her birthday here on Earth, and now his new birthday in heaven. We know he is watching over us all as he sends his love to everyone he knew.

Pedro will be missed dearly, but remembered fondly forever.
