Nancy Ann Johnson

Nancy Johnson, 67, passed away on December 12, 2023 in Orlando, Florida.

Nancy was born in Illinois on June 22, 1956. She graduated from Boone High School in Orlando in 1975. Nancy had a long banking career but truly thrived working with animls at a veterinary clinic.

Nancy met her beloved husband Daniel while they were both working in the former Colonial Plaza Mall. The two married on September 7, 1978. In 1984 the couple welcomed their first child, Jennifer, and 18 months later, their second, Jessica. The Johnson family shared many happy years together in the Conway neighborhood of Orlando.

Nancy was best known for her green thumb. Gardening was a passion she shared with her husband and together they made their home the envy of the street. Nancy also had a deep appreciation for animals and adopted many. She took in pets that others had tossed aside and gave them the home and love they deserved. Nancy loved music. Her daughters will always remember singing along with her at the top of their lungs and silly dancing on Saturday mornings to Nancy's favorite music. 

Nancy is survived by her husband of 45 years, Daniel, her daughters, Jennifer and Jessica, sons-in-law, Jerry and Shawn, one grandson, Zakk, and her father, William.

The family is honoring Nancy's wishes and will not be holding a service. For those who may feel compelled to remember the life of Nancy Johnson, we encourage you to make a donation to an animal charity of your choosing.
