Nancy Margaret "Peggy" Wallace Baldwin, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at Westminster Towers in Orlando, FL. Mrs. Baldwin was married to John Thomas Wallace in Hattiesburg, MS and they raised three daughters. Following Mr. Wallace's death in 1983, Mrs. Baldwin married Ernest Baldwin, who predeceased her. Mrs. Baldwin is also predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tyler H. Gooch of Hattiesburg, MS, a sister, Mrs. Ruth Gaston, and a daughter, Mrs. Ginny Rinehart. Mrs. Baldwin graduated from Judson College in Marion, AL, where she was elected Queen of the May. She taught art prior to her marriage to Tom Wallace. Mrs. Baldwin was a local artist who participated in many art shows in the Orlando area. Mrs. Baldwin was employed for many years by Conway United Methodist Preschool, both as a teacher and kindergarten director. Many in the Orlando area remember Ms. Baldwin as their kindergarten teacher, as did their children after them. Surviving Mrs. Baldwin are daughters Mrs. Nancy Gump (David) of Rock Hill, SC and Mrs. Claire Miller (William) of Orlando, FL, son-in-law, Tom Rinehart of Princeton, NJ. Mrs. Baldwin is also survived by four grandchildren: Kyle (Chrissy) and Katie Miller, and Taylor and Blaine Rinehart. A visitation will be held at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, Saturday, November 14, from 1pm until time of service at 2pm.
