Melanie Kutz

Melanie Arvin Kutz of Orlando, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 56, on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, Deroy C. Arvin, Jr. and Linda Jean Arvin.

Melanie was a devoted and loving mother to Alex Kutz and Daniel (Katelin) Kutz; a cherished sister to Melissa (Leopoldo) Romero and Melinda (Giles) Woodhall; a much-loved aunt to Michael Shishan, Joseph (Maurin) Shishan, Linda Joy Shishan, Owen Woodhall, and Juliet Woodhall; and a treasured friend to many.

Melanie had recently retired from a successful teaching career and was an active bike rider, crafter, and traveler who was always open to a new adventure. Although she left us much too soon and will be deeply missed, she will live on in the hearts and memories of all those who loved her.

Family and friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 East Curry Ford Road, Orlando, FL 32806, with a funeral service following at 11:00 a.m.

Graveside services will be held at Glen Haven Cemetery, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, FL 32789 from 1:00PM to 1:30PM.
