Matilda Bright

Matilda A. Bright 92, of Orlando, Florida, died peacefully Sunday, March 13, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. The former Matilda Grivicich was born December 27, 1923 in Ironwood, Michigan, daughter of the late Marco & Matilda Grivicich and graduated from Luther L. Wright High School. She was married to Paul D Bright. Paul preceded her in death on July 22, 1979.

She was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and was an avid bowler, who loved watching all types of professional sports. She is survived by two daughters, Pamela , Orlando, Fl and Donna, Tampa, Fl; 3 grandchildren, Jon, Shaun & Ashley; 2 great-grandchildren Lauren & Austin; 1 sister Mary Anderson, Wakefield, Michigan; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Matilda was preceded in death by brothers Nick and Steve Grivicich and sisters, Josephine Mukavitz, Ann Light and Katie Miklesh .

Burial will be celebrated at 11AM with Father Roland at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 Harrell Road, Orlando, Fl 32817. Celebration of Life will be held at her home immediately following the service. The family wishes to express their heart-felt thank you to nurses at Vitas who gave her wonderful care during her last few months.
