Mark Lanier Crosby was born in Orlando, Florida on January 9, 1951 to his parents, Charles and Mary Crosby, and his brothers, Chuck and Johnnie. He passed away on June 16, 2010.
Mark attended Lake Como and Pine Castle Elementary Schools, Conway Middle School, and Oakridge High School where he was a drummer in the Marching Band.
Mark also attended and graduated from Valencia Community College and the University of Central Florida.
Mark worked on the construction of Walt Disney World in Orlando from 1969 to 1971 and worked at HD Supply for 36 years progressing in the company from initially being a Truck Driver to being a Warehouse Associate,
Sales Associate, Department Manager, and Purchasing Manager. Mark was an avid Outdoorsman (hunting and fishing), a NASCAR enthusiast, and a dedicated Sports Fan supporting the University of Miami, Orlando Magic, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Mark loved, and was loved by, his family and friends, and as his Mother said to him "after all is done, we will be together in Heaven by and by".
Graveside services are planned for Mark Lanier Crosby at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Greenwood Cemetery in Orlando, Fl. to celebrate his life.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church in Orlando.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home in Orlando.
