Margaret Reed

Margaret Rogers Reed, 82, Orlando, FL, passed away on Thursday November 21, 2019. She was born in Port Colborne, Ontario to John and Molly Rogers. Margaret was a beloved and dedicated exceptional education teacher in Orange County until the age of 71, earning Teacher of the Year in 1995 at Lake Sybelia Elementary. She was passionate about music and was an accomplished pianist. A dedicated mother and Air Force wife, she created a warm and loving home for her family at each of their assignments throughout the United States, Canada and Europe.  Margaret was the number one fan of her grandchildren at their sporting events, dance and theater performances. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Ret. Col. Norman E. Reed, their three children Marianne Morrissette, Barbara Reed, David Reed (Kim), five grandchildren Lauren Morrissette (Michael Ide), Julie Anne Morrissette, Justin Rapaport, Evan Rapaport, Sophie Reed, great granddaughter Emery Ide and sister, Shirley Rogers Lazareth. She will be dearly missed.
