Ltc Denton,

LTC Earle Lewis Denton, USA Retired, went to our Lord, March 1, 2015. He is survived by his wife and soul mate of almost 40 years Carol Forsberg Denton and daughters; Susan Denton Harris and Kathleen Denton Pierson, son-in-law Dave Pierson, granddaughter Michele Pierson and grandson Michael Pierson. A highly decorated Veteran of Korea and Vietnam; he was a leader, mentor, friend in the modeling and simulation (M&S) industry and in his community. He was honored by the M&S Hall of Fame and the Officer Candidate School (OCS) Hall of Fame at Ft. Benning. Class of 1975 honored Earle to be "A Friend of West Point".
An active member of multiple Orange County Government committees and special task forces, he was Orange County Citizen of the year three times. He spearheaded bringing the VA hospital to Orlando and the Central Florida Veteran's Memorial Park Foundation (CFVMPF) memorial park behind it.

A service celebrating Earle's life will be 9:30 AM on March 9, 2015 at St. Stephens Presbyterian Church, 8601 Lake Underhill Road, Orlando, Florida, 32825. A reception will follow at Rio Pinar Golf Club.LTC Denton, Army, ( Ret.) Final Place of rest will be with his comrades in arms at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
