Lt. Colonel (Ret.) Lynn Pace Hardy "Bud"
He was born April 10, 1941 in Daytona Beach, Florida to his parents Henry Lynn Hardy and Jane Pace Hardy. He died peacefully in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday, March 15, 2016.
Bud attended local schools such as Cherokee Junior High and William R. Boone High School and graduated from the University of Florida.
In 1962 he entered the United States Marines Corps serving in Okinawa, Dominican Republic and other locations.
Following his years in the military, Bud perused a career in business in Atlanta, Georgia.
He is survived by his sister Carole Hardy Walston and brother-in-law Jack L. Walston, Sr., nieces Ashley Walston (Lawrence) and nephew Jack L. Walston, Jr.
Visitation for Budis scheduled for Tuesday, March 29th form 6 to 8 PM at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, Florida, 32806. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 30th at 10:30 AM at the Downtown Baptist Church, 120 East Pine Street, Orlando, Florida 32801. Graveside services with military honors will he held at Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando at 1:30 PM.
