Louise was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She lived twenty years at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York where her husband served in the USMA Band. Upon his retirement they relocated to Melbourne, Florida, later moving to Orlando. She was a past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, past President of the U.S. Army Wives Club, and a member of Conway United Methodist Church. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Akers of Denver, Colorado; son, Donald Jr., and daughter, Lynn Heaton; four grandchildren, Daryl, Danielle, Lauren, and Ryan; and great grandchild, Gavin. A Memorial Service for Mrs. Louise M. Stewart, age 89, of Orlando, FL., who passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019, will be held Saturday, May 25, 2019 3PM in the Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home Chapel.
