Louise S. Hall, of Orlando, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015. She was born February 27, 1923 in Lakeland, FL before moving to Orlando. While in high school, she taught skating at the Orlando Skating Rink. Louise graduated from Orlando H.S. She turned down a scholarship to Stetson University because she could not afford the living expenses, but she always placed a high value on education with her children. She worked for Southern Bell (now AT&T) for 40 years in Orlando where she started as an operator and finished as supervisor of training. She married J. Cazzie Hall after the war and was married 64 years before Cazzie's passing. Louise loved crafts, particularly needlepoint. She also enjoyed cooking and was a student of many of the TV food shows. Louise and Cazzie had a second home in Franklin, NC and spent parts of 20 years there. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Downtown Orlando. She is predeceased by Cazzie; her brother Cliff Spence and sisters Ella Mae DeLoach, Ann Parks and Ruth Heck. She is survived by her children, Steve (Vicki) Hall and Pam (Rick) Hoveland; grandchildren, Curtis and Erin Hall and Kelli Barnes; granddaughter McKenna; many nieces and nephews. Memorials can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Downtown Orlando, 142 E. Jackson St, Orlando, FL 32801-3395 or Vitas Hospice Care. Service will be at Greenwood Cemetery (1603 Greenwood St, Orlando) on Friday, April 17 at 10 AM. Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home is in charge.
