Lois Hild

Lois Kuykendall Hild, 94, of Orlando, FL., passed away on November 19, 2014. Lois is preceded in death by her husband 1997 Col. Fred E. Hild, USAF RET, who served many years as assistant provost at Valencia Community College. As a military wife, Lois had the opportunity to travel extensively, being stationed in places such as Germany, Japan, Hawaii, and Washington, DC. Lois attended Stetson University, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church of Orlando. She loved to read, watch golf and college football. For many years, she was an avid bridge player and also enjoyed needle point. She especially loved to dance. Lois is survived by her loving sons, Steven Hild of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and David Hild of Orlando, FL, a sister, Claudine Fleming Penn, and a brother, James Robert Kuykendall, both of Orlando. A memorial service will be held at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, on Monday, November 24, 2014, at 11am.
