Lillie I. Echard

Orlando, FL - Lillie Echard, 99, of Orlando, formerly of Columbiana, Ohio and Fontana, California, died January 11, 2022.

Born June 9, 1922 in Greenford, Ohio, she was the daughter of John and Mable (Clay) Callahan.

Mrs. Echard worked at Walmart in Florida until she was 93 and worked previously at Sears in Fontana, California. Lillie loved the Lord and was a member of Conway First Baptist Church for over 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Echard in 2002, whom she married November 16, 1945, and her daughter, Pamela Joy Echard in 2018.

Also, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Callahan and by her twin sister, Lila Johnson Menuey, and four other sisters, Hazel McClish, Gladys VanKirk, Dorothy Hines Murray, and Verna Echard, who was married to John’s younger brother.

She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and her friend Jack.

Services will be held Friday January 28th at 11 am at Conway First Baptist Church 4000 South Conway Rd Orlando, Florida 32822. Burial is in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
