L. Edsel Thompson

Edsel was a friend to all. Those lucky enough to be blessed with his friendship will undoubtedly remember the kindness, grace, and love with which he lived his life.

Husband of 65 years to the love of his life, Norma, father to Susan, Skip, and Scott, and brother to LaRue and Marilyn. Edsel cared deeply for his family and daily blessed all of his "Knotheads" (kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, and partners).

Edsel and Norma pursued a life of adventure together with their family, exploring the natural wonders of Florida and took joy spending time outdoors, fishing, and traveling often. A highlight still fondly remembered today was the family's road trip from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to Anchorage, AK (and back!)

Those who knew him will no doubt miss Edsel's many stories. No matter the subject, his stories delighted all who would listen.

Edsel will forever be remembered in our hearts. May this memory be a blessing and reminder of the love he showed us that we may continue to love each other in the same way.
