Larry Swann, Sr.

Larry A. Swann, Sr. 75, of Clermont, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on December 7, 2015 after a long illness. He was a retired engineer with the Orlando Fire Department. He also coached high school baseball throughout the Central Florida area. He was an avid sports enthusiast and loved the Florida Gators!!!
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 55 years, Rita, children-Larry, Jr., (Carey), Lisa (Bob Haas), Kent (Karen), Leigh (Amy), Grandchildren: Kristopher Haas, Kelsey Haas, Morgan Swann, Lauren Swann, Tyler Swann and Alexander Swann. Survived by a mother-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law and by numerous nieces and nephews. Larry was a member of the Downtown Baptist Church, Orlando. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 14, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, Florida 32806. A memorial service to celebrate Larry's life will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2015-which was his home church for many years-The Church at Southside, 1720 Lake Margaret Drive, Orlando, Florida 32806 at 11:00 AM. Internment will be at Highland Memory Gardens, Apopka, Florida
