Kathryn Hansel Woodling, born June 18, 1920, to parents Ebbie and Vera Mae Hansel in Orlando, FL. "Kay" as she was more commonly known by, graduated from Orlando High School, spent 1 year at Mary Washington University and then married her high school sweetheart, Paul Woodling in 1940. She had 2 daughters, Kathryn (Kathy) and Rebecca (Becky). Kay served as book keeper at Imperial Motors for many years while maintaining her home and raising 2 girls. Kay loved bridge, golf, traveling, cooking, sewing and socializing! She hosted numerous parties over the years and loved to have good friends around to laugh with. Kay was a member of The American Legion Auxiliary for 28 years, a member of Pinecastle United Methodist Church for over 30 years as well as many years of dedication to The Elks Club. Kay also served as the scribe for the Bahia Shrine camel herders. Kay was very proud of her family as 2 well-known streets in Orlando, Hollenbeck Drive and Hansel Avenue which were named after her grandfathers. She is survived by brother; Ralph Hansel (Orlando) Kathy Stokes and husband John (Apopka) Becky Sutton and husband Pete (Keystone Heights). Kathryn has 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home on Thursday 10/15/2015 at 1 PM. Visitation will be held on Wednesday 10/14/2015 from 5 - 7 PM at the funeral home.
