Kathleen N. Livingston
April 28, 1925 - December 4, 2022
Kathleen Livingston of Orlando passed away peacefully surrounded by family Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Orlando Health Hospital in Orlando, Florida.
She was born on April 28, 1925 in Daviess County, Indiana to the late Harvey and Catherine (Ash) Nolley. Kathleen was a 1943 graduate of Montgomery High School.
She met and married the love of her life Donald "Don" Eugene Livingston.
She was a hairdresser while living in Indiana, moved to California before settling in Orlando. In her more recent years she enjoyed volunteering in the library and coop at her apartment complex, Kinneret Retirement community.
She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, which is an organization of Catholic women. She was very active in her church, Blessed Trinity Catholic Church serving many years as an usher and money counter.
Kathleen was known by many different titles: Kack, Kathy, Nana, GiGi but to most of her family she was the "Matriarch" of the Nolley family and her passing will leave a huge role to fill. She had a passion for painting and traveling that took her on many cruises including a 72 day trip around the world. When asked what her secret to never looking her age, she would tell you "the secret to life was good posture and good scotch."
She is preceded in death by her husband, Don who passed January 3, 1992. Also her parents Harvey and Catherine; brothers Arlan, Donald, James, Richard (Doc), Joseph, Gilbert (Gib), John (Kenny); sister Cleo; son Kevin Nolley; daughter-in-law Beatriz.
She is survived by granddaughter Shanon Nolley; great-granddaughter McKenzie Nolley, and many nieces and nephews and lots of best friends.
A memorial mass will be held at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church on January 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Private graveside service will be held immediately following at Greenwood cemetery.
