Karyl Goodwin

Karyl Goodwin, 89 of Orlando passed away late Wednesday evening, June 27, 2018.
She was born on September 11, 1928 in Cambridge Massachusetts to John and Alice Goodrich. She married Donald Goodwin on November 18, 1977. Shortly after they moved to Hollywood, Florida where they resided for several years before returning to Orlando, FL.

In her younger years, Karyl was a model who worked in Hollywood, California and would tell stories of once meeting the King, Elvis Presley. Later she became a telecommunications specialist and worked for Bellsouth for many years. She was also in retail sales with Gayfers and Jordan Marsh.

Survivors include Donald Goodwin, her husband of 40 years, Daughters: Donna Forbes (Paul), Patricia Myers (Bill) and Brenda Carr (John) all of Orlando, FL. Grandchildren: Brandon, Jennifer, Christine, Sean and Tiffany. Great-Grandchildren: Kadence, Cail​eigh, Cayden, Aria, River and Bradley.

A "celebration of life" funeral service will be held on Saturday July 7, 2018 at 12:00pm (visitation at 11:00am) at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 East Curry Ford Rd., Orlando, FL 32806.
