Joseph N. Lemelin

Joseph N. Lemelin, age 91, of Orlando, Florida passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on July 27, 2023. He was born in Berlin, New Hampshire to the late Sylvio and Germain Lemelin. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Leona Lemelin. 

Joseph was a true American Patriot who retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant after serving his country for over 22 years. Following his retirement from the military, Joseph went on to be employed with the City of Orlando for over a decade, while also earning his Bachelors Degree in Sociology from the University of Central Florida. He was an active member of his local church and many other local organizations including being and advocate for anti-abortion. 

He is survived by his wife, Katherine Lemelin of Orlando, FL; sons and daughters-in-law, George and Kathy Lemelin of Ogema, MN, Joseph and Nancy Lemelin of Orlando, FL. 

Services to celebrate the life of Joseph will be held at 6:30 PM, Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, Florida 32806 with full military honors. The family will be receiving friends directly after the service from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
