1934 - 2015

Joe was born June 26, 1934 in Watertown, MA, to Joseph & Angelina Cronin. Joe retired in 1972, after serving his country for over twenty years in the United States Air Force. After retirement from the military, he attended University of Central Florida to study Business Administration and later worked at Sea World. Joe was a devout Catholic, an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and loved a good laugh, but his biggest joy of all was spending time with his wife. Joe is preceded in death by his mother and father, Joseph, Sr. and Angelina; his sisters Loretta and Diane; his son-in-law Paul Campbell, Jr. and his beloved Maltese "Penny." He is survived by his dear wife of 60 years, Chieko Nancy; his children, Joseph P. Cronin (Anne) , Diana Cronin-Campbell, Timothy Cronin (Maura), Carolyn Sanderson (Gordon) and Kenny Cronin; his grandchildren Joey, Caroline, Kayla, Allen, Derrick, Calvin, Mary, Charlie, Eliot, Jarryd and Wyatt; and his brother Robert (Sonya). A memorial service will be held at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, at 10am, Monday, July 27, 2015 and Joe will be inurned at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Red Sox Foundation.
