John Edward Hamberg, 80, of Orlando, FL, passed away on September 27, 2018. Ed was a teacher of math and science for over 30 years. He enjoyed teaching, traveling and spending time with his family.
He lived in New Jersey until he retired and moved to Florida to enjoy his love of Disney and the space program. Ed is preceded in death by his dear wife of 42 years, Maureen, mother-in-law Lucille Mahon and brother-in-law Al Smith.
Ed continues to live on in the memories of his children and their spouses, Michael and Karen Hamberg, Robert and Sandra Hamberg, Thomas and Lisa Hamberg and Lauralyn and Matthew Danish, his sister Mary Jean Smith, his sister-in-law Donna Mahon,
his eight grandchildren, Lauren, Kristen, Sarah, Jacob, Luci, Alex, Meghan, and Zach, his nieces and a nephew. A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018, from 2pm-4pm and from 6pm until time of service at 8pm at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home,
