On Saturday November 2, 2019 our beloved father, son, brother and uncle, John Edward Gardner III, passed away of heart failure peacefully at his home 5068 Andrea Blvd. Orlando Florida. John is survived by his two loving sons, John Edward Gardner IV (Jack) and Dane Cruz Gardner, his mother Roxanne F. Holsapple and stepfather George H. Holsapple, his father John E.Gardner II and step mother Cydney R. Gardner, his adoring sister Alexandra G. Prescott and brother in law Grant Prescott all of Myrtle Beach, S.C. Nephews: Dylan Prescott of the University of SC, Columbia, SC and Mason Prescott of Myrtle Beach. John attended Lake Brantley High School, Altamonte Springs, Orange Coast College, Costa Mesa, California and The San Diego Golf Academy graduating with PGA Credentials. He was employed with Junior Golf of Orlando where he taught golf in the Orange and Seminole Public School Systems. John was a member of Summit Church, Orlando where his two sons were dedicated as infants to the Glory of God. Visitation and Celebration will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm at the Carey Hand/Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Rd., Orlando, FL 32806. A private family burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando, Florida. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations to be made to either the American Heart Association or The Orlando Union Rescue Mission.
