Jane Greaney, 87, of Orlando, FL., was called to Heaven on March 24, 2016. She passed away peacefully in Panama City, FL., with her daughter by her side. She was born in Pelham, NY., on November 14, 1928 to Violet and Ellis Williams, and was the middle child of 3, born at home by a midwife. She married William (Bill) Greaney on July 25, 1953 and was married to him for 35 years until his passing in 1988.

Jane is survived by her daughter Barbara Huss of Panama City, FL., son William Greaney (Dawn) of Orlando, FL., son Kevin Greaney (Paulette) of Smyrna, GA., sister Carole Kelley of Orlando, FL., 4 grandsons: Ryan and Steven Huss, Chris and Austin Greaney, 1 granddaughter; Kaitlyn Greaney, 1 great grandson; Graham Huss (2015), and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother (Ronald) and youngest son (John).
She was an involved and active member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church for over 35 years, she traveled to the Holy Land where she walked the Via Dolorosa. She enjoyed playing golf, bridge and belonged to the Red Hat Society.

She took great pride in and doted on her children and grandchildren, she treasured every moment she spent with them. She raised 4 children: Barbara (1954), Billy (1955), Kevin (1956) and John (1958) while being moved all over the U.S., and such places as Hawaii, Guam (where she was a teacher), and Puerto Rico by the Air Force from 1959 to 1971. In 1971 the family finally put down roots in Orlando, where Jane remained until December 2012, when she moved to Panama City to be with her daughter.

She was a world traveler with her husband, and after 1988 by herself with friends. She went on over 30 cruises and traveled to Egypt, Australia, Europe, Tokyo, Ireland, Scotland, (just to name a few) she walked on every continent.
She lives on in all her children and grandchildren.

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 4545 Anderson Road, Orlando, FL., 32812. Immediately following she will be buried at Greenwood Cemetery, 1603 Greenwood Street, Orlando, FL., 32801. After Jane's committal service at the cemetery a reception will follow at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church so that a continuation of stories and memories can be shared with Jane's family.
