Jan Moncrief

Jan Marie Moncrief was born on February 7, 1957 in Indianapolis, IN to James and Mary Bolander. Jan was the oldest of 3 children. She was an avid reader, especially when it came to romance or murder mysteries. She also loved flamingos, Hallmark movies, and the Food network. Among her hobbies were spending time with her family any chance she got, traveling and exploring, and listening to music. Jan is survived by her two children; Jimmy L. Moncrief, Jennifer M. Alberson, 3 grandchildren; Kristen Brooke Moncrief, Brandon Lee Moncrief, Amber Leigh Alberson, and sibling Beth Ann Schlarf. Jan held different jobs in her life including gas attendant clerk, court reporter, before ultimately becoming a claims adjuster, where she spent most of her career. Jan passed away on the afternoon of Sunday September 22, 2019. Though we miss her more than words can express, we know she is reunited with the love of her life and is dancing on the streets of gold and made whole.
