Herbert Eugenio Santana

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Herbert Eugenio Santana, who left us peacefully on February 8 at the age of 96. Herbert was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

Herbert was born in Camaguey, Cuba, to Estanislao Santana and Gertrudis Molina Santana. As the eldest son, he was raised in a household that valued hard work, education, and close-knit family bonds. Herbert later attended university in Havana.

In the early years of his career, Herbert moved to California, where he worked for IBM, before eventually settling in Orlando, Florida, for over four decades. There, he became a successful business owner, running HES Office Equipment.

Herbert's family was his greatest joy. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Patricia Santana; two children; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three nieces; two nephews; five grand-nieces; and four great-great-grand-nieces.

Herbert was preceded in death by his brother and two sisters, who he loved dearly. His memory will be forever cherished, and he will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
