Henry A. Gonzalez left us far too soon on February 20,2021. He was born and raised in New Jersey. In high school he met his soulmate and love, Annie. During their forty six year marriage they were blessed with two amazing sons, Ryan and Patrick.
Henry’s career began as a locksmith. His switch to logistics was made to provide for his family.
In the early 1980’s the family moved to Orlando, FL. Working in Orlando he became known as Hank. Until his health forced him to retire in 2014, he enjoyed a long career as a logistics manager/director.
Hank enjoyed painting, traveling, all things science fiction and watching the older black and white movies. His favorite artist was Andrew Wyeth. His favorite singer was Frank Sinatra. If there had been a theme song for his life, it would have been, “I Did It My Way”. Hank also collected classic monsters and oriental items. His favorite holiday was Halloween. For many years Hank and Patrick built life size monsters to put outside on Halloween.
Henry is survived by his wife, Annie, sons, Ryan and Patrick. His mother, Carmen Gonzalez. Brother-in-law, sister-in-law, Ross, Elizabeth and their family. His sister, Norma, brother-in-law, Louis and their family. He was also blessed with many friends who became family are too numerous to name.
He is sorely missed but will live on in our hearts. He’s resting now and at peace.
