Gary Ball

Ball, Gary D., 57, passed away February 12, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Gary was born in Orlando, FL, September 26, 1957, to Douglas and Emma Ball. He attended Colonial High School. He had a longtime career as a commercial and residential glazier. Throughout his career he worked on numerous construction projects across the United States including many of Orlando's prestigious high rises such as the Peabody Hotel, SunTrust Tower and Florida Hospital. Gary was an avid reader, loved music and enjoyed fishing. What some may not know or some may have forgotten, he was an excellent unicyclist in his earlier years. Gary is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Beau) Back, Apopka; Jessica (Keith) Holecek, Jordan and Joanna Ball, all of Orlando. Grandchildren, Travis and Tyler Back. Siblings, Sharon (Danny Frank) Whitewolf, Kissimmee; Carolyn McRorie, Apopka; Douglas (Judy) Ball, Windermere; Judith (David) Corron, Apopka; and numerous family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, FL, at 3:00PM, on Saturday, February 21, 2015.
