Obituary for Fredric Thomas Hahn

December 21, 1947 - November 17, 2024

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Tom Hahn. Tom passed away

peacefully on November 17, 2024.

Born in New York, New York to Fred Hahn and Claire Hutchens Hahn, he grew up in Orlando.

He graduated from Edgewater High School, attended the University of Florida, and went on to

obtain his MBA from Florida Technological University. On June 25, 1977 he married Cynthia

Shore Hahn in Boonville, NC. They were married for 47 years. They had two daughters and

one grandson.

Tom spent years actively involved in the community. He was a former member of Rotary

International, was an active member of the PTA and School Advisory Council at his daughters’

schools. He was an active member of First United Church of Christ in Orlando and held several

leadership roles. He loved playing golf, the beach, music, and almost every sport. He will be

remembered for his big heart and wonderful sense of humor.

Tom is survived by his wife Cindy, daughter Emily, and beloved grandson Nathan. He was

preceded in death by his parents and daughter Rebecca. A memorial service will be held at

First United Church of Christ Orlando at a later date. In honor of his memory, donations can be
