Francis Novak

With heartfelt sadness, a sister and two brothers mourn the loss of their brother Francis, age 73, who passed away on January 20, 2019. His surviving siblings are Dorothy Gallagher in Deland, Florida,
Ted Novak and his wife Carole in Bel Air, Maryland and Fred Novak and his wife Norma in St. Augustine, Florida. At the time of his passing Francis was under Hospice care at the Orlando Regional Health Center, Orlando.

Francis lived with his parents James and Angela, a large part of his early life due to a critical illness which occurred during his childhood. The family lived in Lansford, Pennsylvania, Wildwood, New Jersey and lastly in Orlando, Florida. There, he attended local organizations which focused on helping young handicapped people in the Orange County area, to become more socially active. His attempt at independent living did not work out and eventually Francis became a resident at the Orlando Health and Rehabilitation facility on Michigan Avenue.

Francis made many friends there. He enjoyed playing table games, going shopping, friendly mixing with other residents, but mostly, being an advocate of the New England Patriots NFL team.

Funeral Mass will take place at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 4545 Anderson Road, Orlando, at 11:00am on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 Harrell Road, Orlando, Florida.
