Meister, Eugene C., 81, of Orlando, passed away on July 22, 2014. He was born in Columbus, Ohio Jan. 16, 1933. Gene grew up in Westerville, OH and attended Ohio State University. In 1958, he moved to Orlando where he was a mechanical designerengineer at Martin Marietta for 30 years. He married Alice Clark, of Andalusia, AL, in 1960. Gene was a former member of Toastmasters International Calliope Club 2821. Eugene is survived by daughters Jane Meister, Orlando, and Alice Anne Berlage, Dunedin, FL soninlaw, Paul Berlage and granddaughters Abby and Nickie Berlage. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Alice Meister and parents Edward and Freeda Meister. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations to the FOUR12 after school ministry at First Presbyterian Church. Viewing and visitation with the family will be Monday, July 28, 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 E. Curry Ford Rd., Orlando, 407 898 2561. The memorial service will be held in the chapel at First Presbyterian Church, 106 E. Church St., Orlando, Tuesday, July 29, at 2:30 p.m.
