Esther L. Mallison

Esther Mallison, 95, went home to be with her Lord on November 30, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born to George and Nettie Ragla in Hastings, Michigan on February 20, 1928. She attended Michigan State University, where she met the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Mallison.  They married in 1950, soon after they graduated from college, and were married for 67 years.  The couple moved to Orlando in 1960, where they raised their daughter, Holly.  Esther was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was involved in her church, a variety of art classes and volunteer activities. Esther loved to travel, and they enjoyed many wonderful trips after Bob retired. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and she was an avid fan and supporter of their many activities.  Esther was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Orlando and lived at Westminster Towers, Orlando.  Esther is survived by her daughter Holly (Gerald) McElroy, granddaughter Alison (David) Pedersen, and grandson Casey (Inna) McElroy.

A Funeral Service will be held in honor of Esther on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 11AM in the Reformation Chapel at First Presbyterian Church of Orlando. A reception will follow in her honor, in the King Parlor.
