January 22, 1928 — April 30, 2014

Emmert Roy Crosby Pinky, 86, of Orlando, FL, passed away on April 30, 2014. Roy was born in Trenton, NJ. He lived in Hamilton Township, until his retirement and relocation to Orlando in 1990. He graduated from Trenton Central HS and served in the US Navy during the Korean conflict aboard aircraft carrier USS Leyte. Roy was employed at Princeton University for 31 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Carolyn, son, Timothy R. Crosby of Bridgewater, NJ, daughter Margaret M. George, Jr. Preston, grandchildren, George lll and Todd Emmert Preston. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Stella nee Beaston Crosby and brothers Alton and Edmund Crosby. Funeral Mass will take place at 10AM, Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 1501 N. Alafaya Trail, Orlando. Inurnment with Military Honors, will take place on Thursday, May 8, 1PM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fl. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Orlando Union Rescue Mission, 410 W. Central Blvd., Orlando, FL 32801. Arrangements entrusted to Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, Orlando. 407 898 2561.
