Elsie Vega, 74. Our beloved Mother, Daughter, Sister, Mother-in-law, and Grandmother passed away on February 6, 2023. Elsie Vega was born on April 19, 1948 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, to Leonardo Vega and Maria Gonzalez.
She loved spending time with family, listening to music, and found joy in crocheting and sewing.
She loved all the colors of the rainbow, and we would like her celebration of life to be full of vibrancy, color, and joyful music.
She is survived by her 2 sons Floyd Jimenez (Daisy), Robert Abrasevic and daughter Elizabeth Toney (Douglas) and 6 grandchildren: Isabelle and Janet Jimenez, Miguel Ortiz; Amanda and Anthony Abrasevic, and Benjamin Toney. Her 3 sisters Evelyn, Ivonne and Norma Vega and 2 brothers Jesse and Segundo Vega and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. We will miss her greatly.
There will be a viewing at 5:00pm to 7:30pm on Monday, February 20, 2023, followed by a church service at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 21,2023 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 5900 Oleander Dr, Orlando, FL 32807 . The service will be followed by a burial at 1:00pm at Orlando Memorial Gardens at 5264 Ingram Rd, Apopka, FL 32703. Please wear vibrant, happy colors or your favorite color in her honor.
