Elsie Gschwind

Elsie Mae Gschwind of Orlando, Florida, and Duluth, Georgia, died peacefully on Monday, August 15, 2022, at Parc at Duluth Personal Care Home in Duluth, Georgia. Elsie was 98.

Miss Gschwind was born in Moore County, North Carolina, on September 8, 1923, to the late Zelma and Charlie Gschwind. She received her education at the University of Virginia, Duke University, and Johns Hopkins Medical School. Her career in X-ray Radiology at Orange Memorial Hospital in Orlando, Florida, spanned many years.

Elsie was a remarkable woman. She was strong, independent, a gracious southern lady. Elsie was proud to be a Baptist. She lived her days with confidence in God and it was in His peace that she moved from this life into Eternal Life.

Elsie will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
