Elaine Salpas, our beloved Mother and Yia Yia, passed away peacefully at home in Orlando on Sunday January 23, 2022. She was 78 years old.
She was born on November 16, 1943, in Brooklyn, NY. Elaine and her younger brother John were born to the late Stephen and Mary Salpas. When she was a young girl the family moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she spent her youth. Elaine graduated from Cambridge High and Latin School in 1961. She married the late Henry Angelo in 1966. They had 3 children, Lee (1967), Scott (1968), and Jonathan (1974). In 1977, the family moved to Orlando, FL, where they all remain.
Elaine dedicated her life to supporting her children, grandchildren, family, and friends with laughter, guidance, and absolute unconditional love. Over the last 10 years, Elaine hosted family dinner every Sunday, creating cherished memories for the people who loved her.
