Jung, E. Kenneth, age 96 of Orlando, Florida passed away August 20, 2014. He was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin to Herbert Henry Jung and Florence Horn Jung. He attended Hillcrest Elementary, Cherokee Junior High and Orlando High School. He graduated from TriState University now Trine University in Angola, Indiana with a degree in chemical engineering. He also earned a degree in engineering management from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Ken was inducted as an Ensign in the US Navy during World War II.
He married Katherine J. Sullivan of Boston in 1943. Kate preceded Ken in death. He was also preceded in death by son James, sister Lillian Worachek of Ewen, Michigan, brother Donald Jung of Winter Park, and nieces Janet Chaves of Vero Beach and Catherine Brown of Chelmsford, Massachusetts.
Ken is survived by sister Lucile Jung of Orlando, sisterinlaw Gay Jung of Winter Park, and nieces and nephews: Mark Jung of Sorrento Judith Jung of Alamosa, Colorado Karen Jung of Winter Park Steven Kathy Worachek of Ewen, Michigan Kathleen Bob Western of Sheboygan, Wisconsin Vivian Dan Driskill of Williamsburg, Virginia and Alden Worachek of Anchorage, Alaska. Also surviving are Gail John Keinz of East Orleans, Massachusetts, Howard Brown of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, and David Owens of Gulfport, Mississippi.
Ken and Katherines home was in Carlisle, Massachusetts before retiring to Naples and then to Orlando, where they were residents of Orlando Lutheran Towers. Interment will be in Massachusetts.
