It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Hayden Gibson, at the age of 65. Donald was born on January 6, 1958, in Tampa, Florida, and passed away on February 24, 2023, in Orlando, Florida.
Donald was a beloved member of the community in Orlando, where he practiced law for many years. His clients appreciated his dedication to their cases, and he was well-respected by his colleagues in the legal profession. His intelligence and quick wit were matched only by his kindness and empathy towards others.
Donald was an intelligent and dedicated individual who always pursued excellence in everything he did. He attended the University of Florida where he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After completing his undergraduate studies, he went on to pursue an MBA at the University of Tampa, and later, a law degree at the University of Kansas School of Law. His education set the foundation for a successful career in law that spanned over three decades.
Beyond his work, Donald had a passion for golf, travel, cooking, movies, and concerts. He loved nothing more than spending time with friends and family, and always had a joke or a funny story to share. He was an avid supporter of the Florida Gators and the Kansas Jayhawks, and his enthusiasm for sports was infectious.
Donald is survived by his daughters, Danielle and Taylor Gibson, his brother Jonathan Gibson, and his Mother, Barbara Gibson, who will miss him dearly. His colleagues, friends, and clients will remember him for his keen mind, his sense of humor, and his unwavering dedication to his work.
The loss of Donald is deeply felt by all who knew him. He will be remembered fondly and missed greatly.
